What is Bloof Baking Co.?
Bloof is a person. Just a regular person who really, really loves to bake. Bloof is me.
Bloof started as a way to manage stress…something to do with my hands, something to focus on. And somewhere along the way, it stopped being about managing stress and started being about love. Love of the process. Love of feeding people. Love of creating something simple that makes someone’s day just a little bit better.
Because here’s the thing… bread does that.
There’s something about warm bread and a little butter… or a lot of butter. It just works. It slows things down. It makes people gather. It makes people happy.
And I think we could all use more of that.
So that’s what Bloof is.
It’s not a bakery. There’s no storefront. No big production.
It’s just me, baking small batches in my kitchen, using real ingredients, taking my time, and putting a lot of care into what I make. I keep things simple on purpose….just a few things, made really well, in limited quantities. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
Because this isn’t about mass production. It’s about making something that feels good to eat and even better to share.

How it works …
I use hotplate to sell my bread. It’s a simple platform designed to help creators like me - the little guy - sell their stuff to locals like you.
It’s simple. Before I bake, I take preorders. After I bake, you come and get it. Easy-peasy. No stress.
If you are in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area, you are close enough to get ya some. And if you love driving, you too can get ya some. Just click the link and sign up with your phone number to be informed of the next and future drops. And don’t worry. They don’t use your info for anything other than a little nudge when drops get scheduled. Because that would be gross.
Once a drop opens, you’ll get a text and you have limited time to preorder. Once the window closes (or an item sells out) you’re OOL and will have to wait breadless for the next drop. How sad.
